Northwestern College’s Oak Lawn Campus Conducting Food & Toy Drive With Oak Lawn Chamber

Northwestern College’s Oak Lawn Campus (7725 S. Harlem Avenue), in conjunction with the Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce & Industry, is pleased to announce its participation once again in the Annual Oak Lawn Chamber Food & Toy Drive. This is the 25th year that the Oak Lawn Chamber has sponsored this drive to benefit the needy families and children of the Oak Lawn Community. Once again, Northwestern College is serving as an official drop-off site for food and toys for the community, as well as for the college’s own students, staff and faculty.

Collection of non-perishable food and new, unwrapped toys will continue through December 9. All proceeds collected will be used to help support community groups and organizations including School District 109; Oak Lawn Community Center; Mosque Food Pantry; Advocate Children’s Hospital; Graves School; St. Fabian Church; Summit Task Force; Catholic Charities; and St. Blasé Church.
Donation boxes are located in the Front Lobby of the College where members of the community can easily spot them. This front entrance location for the donation boxes also serves as a reminder for students and staff entering the building daily.
