Keisha Bishop

Keisha Bishop is currently the Program Director and Associate Professor of the Health Information Technology/Management department and is the Chair of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion committee at Northwestern College. She has over 17 years of healthcare experience in registration, revenue cycle, medical billing, medical coding, management, and many other positions.  She has worked in inpatient and outpatient environments at teaching hospitals, federal qualified health clinics, and for-profit medical centers.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from University of Phoenix, a master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management from Saint Xavier University, and is certified as a Registered Healthcare Information Administrator (RHIA) from the University of Illinois-Chicago campus.
